Dear first year students,

On Tuesday the 12th of December, the First Year’s Symposium will take place. The theme of this afternoon will be ‘Accesibility of Medicines’.  Three speakers will tell us more about this interesting topic. The program starts at 09:30 a.m. with some coffee and tea. The lectures will be held in Marinus Ruppertgebouw, hall 0.42 (Leuvenlaan 21, 3584 CE Utrecht).
The costs of the symposium are € 4,- and you will receive 1 SAC-point for attending the whole morning. We hope to see you there!

9:30 – 10:00             Walk in

10:00 – 10:05             Opening

10:05 – 10:35             Speaker 1 – research phases and authorization – Anne Taams (CBG)

10:35 – 10:45             Discussion

10:45 – 11:15             Speaker 2 – medicine shortage – Huib Has (Teva)

11:15 – 11:25             Discussion

11:25 – 11:45             Coffee break

11:45 – 12:15             Speaker 3 – expensive medicines – Kayleigh van Winssen en Nienke Doeve (VWS)

12:15 – 12:25             Discussion

12:25 – 12:30             Closing U.P.

12:30 – 13:15             Lunch (soup and sandwiches)
